WHY DID GOD BIRTH THE SARA MINISTRY?
OUR PURPOSE,
MISSION, MANDATE
Nehemiah assessed for himself,
with his own eyes, the destruction of Jerusalem's
'"fortification" - their
walls and gates - after receiving from God a mandate to rebuild the walls and gates
of the city
of His people. Likewise, Sara and supporting Christ followers have seen with our own eyes the
destruction, devastation, pain, sorrow, debilitation,
uncertainty, hopelessness,
anger, bitterness,
loneliness,
injustices, fear, compliancy,
complacency, bondage, resignation,
defeat.... in
the eyes,
faces,
voices, lives of EVERY woman we have encountered - countless.
You may respond, "You
won't see any of those in me." Let's be open. There's not one
person
who
has not
experienced devastation of some kind, emotionally, spiritually... leaving its
mark in some
way that either halts, or interferes with, our thriving.
NO ONE IS EXEMPT FROM SIN AND EVIL AND RESIDUAL DEVASTATION AND DESTRUCTION.
Like
Nehemiah, and countless other servants of God throughout history and TODAY, God has
rooted in Sara's heart and on her life the distinctive mandate to carry out with other Christ followers
His Isaiah 61 mandate:
- "...to preach good
news to
the
poor" (of spirit),
- to bind up the brokenhearted
- to proclaim FREEDOM for the captives (of heart,
mind, emotion),
and
- release from darkness the prisoners (from the bondage that prevent
us from becoming
ALL God created us to be),
- to proclaim the year of the Lord's FAVOR and the
day
of vengeance of our God,
- to comfort all who mourn, and
- provide for those who grieve in Zion
(our lives),
- to
bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness
instead of mourning, and
a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."
WHAT WILL BE THE RESULT OF OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD?
"They will be called OAKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, a planting of the Lord for the display of His
splendor. They will
- REBUILD the ancient ruins (generational curses), and
- RESTORE the
places
long devastated; they will
- RENEW the ruined cities (lives, families, relationships) that have been devastated for
GENERATIONS."
What was Nehemiah's answer to those who ridiculed him and attempted to intimidate him
against carrying out God's mandate?
"THE GOD OF HEAVEN WILL GIVE US SUCCESS."

- Personal Growth Groups including our own materials and curriculums for Who Am I?
Discovering Who God Created Me To Be and Becoming ALL God
Created Me To Be
- Guest Speaker for workshops and small group forums
- Conduit for new ministries who desire mentoring to become practically rooted, then up
and running, and a
- Conduit for God-gifted, faith-based writers to help us share the GOOD NEWS OF
JESUS
CHRIST
